TP Rating: D

The pattern on the toilet paper is visually appealing and creates a very nice, soft texture. The toilet paper itself is a decent width and two-ply, but it’s still so thin. After that kind of first impression, I usually take about one-and-a-half times the amount I initially think I’ll need. More often than not, that’s enough. With this one, it was not. This toilet paper was not absorbent at all, begging the question of why the manufacturer even bothered with the second ply. I don’t want to have to take multiple feet of toilet paper just to keep my hand pee-free. I worry that it would’ve torn if I’d taken just one square less.

It’s very unfortunate for all of us that so few toilet paper makers have managed to create something that is gentle, strong, and absorbent. If you follow my reviews at all, you know I’m usually pretty accepting of any combination of even just two of those things. But if you’re only going to give me one, it better be absorbent. I’ll still pan it (see the Minnesota State Fair), but at least my hand will be clean when I exit the stall.
